I'm please to announce I've added two new therapists to my practice, which is now Louisville Mindfulness Center. Please join me in welcoming Stewart and Maggie!

Stewart Morgan works with individuals, couples and families to communicate better and feel more connected in their relationships. Not only is he a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, he also has a master’s degree in Art Therapy.  He loves helping his clients come up with creative solutions to their issues.

Stewart grew up in Virginia and Bangladesh, India and the US before attending college in Arkansas and graduate school in Missouri. He has a knack for working with clients of different cultural backgrounds and worldviews. He likes helping clients be accepting of themselves even when it feels like others aren’t always accepting of them.

Stewart’s excited to get to know you and be a positive support for you. He has openings in the afternoons and evenings.

Maggie Cox works with individuals, couples, teens, and families, striving to understand their unique experience and helping them find solutions that work best for them. Maggie’s creative and free spirit come alive in her work as a therapist. She is especially skilled with teen girls and working with families through alcohol use/misuse and addiction.

Maggie was born in Louisville and has lived all over the United States. After graduating from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, she lived in Portland, Oregon before moving back to Louisville to attend the University of Louisville for her graduate program. Maggie is open-minded, supportive, flexible, and balance and believes in the resilience of the human spirit.

She is honored to walk beside you on this journey to realize your best and authentic self!  She is available for appointments on Monday afternoons and evenings.

    • New Client/First Appointment - Out-of-Pocket $120,140
      This initial 50-minute is a chance for you as an individual or couple to take the first step to working toward solutions for the issues at hand. This first session is your opportunity to give your provider a good overview of your situation and what you'd like to get out of our time together. 

      Megan's sessions are $140, Stewart's are $120, and Maggie's are $100. Full payment is expected at the time of your session.

      Unfortunately we do not accept insurance. Stewart maintains some sliding scale spots. If you are interested in a sliding scale spot, please schedule a free 10-minute consultation with him to discuss this option more fully. 
    • New Client/First Appointment - Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
      Unfortunately we are no longer accepting Anthem BCBS clients. We have two new therapists in the office, Stewart and Maggie, who are taking new clients and have some sliding scale spots available.  If you are interested in this option, please schedule a FREE 10-minute consultation with either one of them.
    • 50 Minute / Standard Weekly Appointment $100,120,140
      If you have already had a New Client/Initial Appointment, please select this option for ongoing sessions.  Please do not schedule this option if this is your very first appointment with one of our practitioners. Megan's sessions are $140, Stewart's are $120, and Maggie's are $100.

      A brief consultation for you to ask questions about therapy and your provider's approach. Please note this is not a therapy session.

    • 1-Hour Stess Releaser Mindfulness Meditation $25
      Need to find a way to release stress, anxiety, or a thought, feeling or behavior you just can's seem to let go of? Tired of talking about it with no results? You're invited to come spend one hour in deep relaxation to release anything you're wanting to let go of.

      This group session requires no sharing or talking. You will spend a majority of the time in deep relaxation as Megan facilitates a guided meditation using mindfulness and hypnosis techniques designed to allow your subconscious to let go of things that are bugging you or habits you want to break.
    • Weekly Mindfulness and Stress Manangement Group $25
      A one-hour, open group to discuss your current stress management needs and learn and practice mindfulness skills. This is a great class for beginners as well as people looking for a mindfulness refresser.
